Dr. Burnett is a seasoned medical device innovator, investor, and entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in the industry. As CEO of Theranova, a premier medtech incubator, he has successfully led the development and commercialization of breakthrough medical technologies.

Previously, Dr. Burnett was a venture capitalist at MedVenture Associates, where he played a critical role in funding and scaling early-stage medical device companies. Over his career, he has helped raise approximately $400 million for portfolio companies and secured $35 million in government grants.

Dr. Burnett has spun out 20 companies from Theranova, including three focused on pediatric and maternal health, demonstrating his commitment to addressing unmet clinical needs in underserved populations. His expertise in medical device development, investment strategy, and company formation continues to drive innovation in the healthcare space.
